Chillzone is a project of the Kars4Kids car donation program
There’s a pizza party every week from Toronto to Denver (and so many places in between) thanks to ChillZone, sponsored by Kars4Kids. Tweens and teens can “chill” while making new friends, playing games and participating in sports, dancing and other activities. Everyone has fun under the watchful eyes of Head Chillers, who serve as mentors and gear the activities to include elements of Jewish education.
Getting kids to socialize and turn off their electronic devices are major challenges for today’s parents. ChillZone, in more than 35 locations throughout the U.S, Canada and Israel, gets kids out of the house and away from their phones by substituting real interaction and programs that entertain and educate.
ChillZone is made possible through the financial support of Kars4Kids. Kars4Kids will haul your old car out of your driveway and give you a tax deduction in return— the process is quick and painless! The proceeds from the car’s sale funds ChillZone and other enrichment programs provided by Oorah, a nonprofit organization serving Jewish children and their families.
